Work-Environment​

OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Advisory Services) 18001 is a specification for the establishment of safety management systems.

The standard was drawn up in accordance with ISO 14001 to ensure these two standards can work together.​

Purpose

Approve policy and objectives, implement a continuing improved work performance and involve employees.  Comply with relevant legislation and to provide guidance for HCS 'work environment in all it's departments.

The policy applies to the entire company that has or may have an impact on environmental and health and safety.

The certification referred to as OHSAS 18001 applies, however, only for sections:

  • Renovation - Household
  • Waste Management - Industrial Waste
  • Sewage and industrial service
  • Recycling
  • Recycling and waste product management

Health and safety management system is based on demands made by customers and authorities, and the OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management standard.

HCS 'health and safety policies are assessed at least annually and revised if necessary in connection with the management review.

HCS has a clear expectation that everyone in the organization is actively working to promote the work environment, among other things, talks about working in daily life.

There will be a minimum of 4 meetings in work organization, with a focus on health and safety issues as well as evaluation and improvement of work processes.

The policy is known to all employees and others working on behalf of HCS, and is available to employees at HCS 'intranet pages.​
