HCS continually develops new concepts and have therefore build a pretreatment system for the reception of the following waste categories:

Source-sorted organic household waste
Supermarket waste (expired)
Food waste from restaurants, catering kitchens, cafés etc.

The pre-treatment plant sorts the waste - plastic, cardboard, iron and metals, etc. The biomass pulp is pumped directly into the biogas plant, which converts it to gas, heat and electricity respectively.

The digested biomass is supplied to the agriculture sector as phosphorus, nutrients, etc. and in this way it is returned to nature as a natural raw material.
