IFS CERTIFICATION

HCS is certified according to IFS Logistics, an international standard that sets high requirements for quality, safety, and traceability in transport and logistics. The certification is proof that HCS meets the strictest international requirements regarding the handling, transportation, and storage of food and other sensitive products.

IFS was developed in collaboration with the retail and food industries to establish a common European standard for quality and safety within the supply chain. The purpose is to ensure that products are handled and transported under controlled and documented conditions – from sender to receiver.

The IFS certification includes, among other things:
	- Control of temperature-sensitive products

- High level of traceability throughout the supply chain
- Structured procedures for hygiene, cleaning, and risk assessment
- Systematic internal and external audits
- Focus on employee training and continuous improvement
- Documented risk management across all transport stages
- Cooperation with approved subcontractors under IFS requirements
- Clear contingency and recall procedures
- Digital recording and monitoring to ensure full transparency

For HCS, the IFS certification is a natural part of our continuous efforts to ensure quality and safety for our customers. It documents that our processes are transparent, well-controlled, and fully aligned with the international standards expected by the industry and our customers.
