HCS IMPROVES TRAFFIC SAFETY WITH BLINDSPOT SYSTEM

2 new trucks in the HCS Environment & Waste section have so far been delivered with the new technology - 16 more are on the way

HCS continuously strive towards the best possible traffic safety. In the middle of October, we had an internal product demonstration in Glostrup of one of the first new HCS trucks equipped with Scania’s blindspot system.

The system monitors the entire right side of the vehicle and warns with light and sound the driver if there is a living creature in the zone. This is supplemented by video surveillance of the entire right side if the driver is preparing to turn right.

HCS has so far ordered blindspot for 18 new trucks in the Environment & Waste section, and has so far received 2 trucks equipped with the system.
