ELECTRIC HOOKLIFT TRUCKS ARE NOW PART OF EVERYDAY OPERATIONS
Earlier this year, HCS took delivery of a number of new electric hooklift trucks for Industrial Waste Services in Glostrup. Since then, the trucks have gone through the necessary introduction, adaptation and running-in period – and they are now part of daily operations.
The new hooklift trucks are used for container transport and are a clear example of how the green transition is gradually becoming a more natural part of everyday life at HCS. These are powerful 28-tonne trucks that combine electric operation with the strength and stability required for handling and transporting containers.
In connection with the delivery, both drivers and traffic managers were thoroughly introduced to the new technology. This has been an important part of the process, as electric trucks differ from traditional diesel trucks in several areas – including driving, range, charging and daily planning.
The electric hooklift trucks are clearly branded with HCS’ visual identity and send a clear signal that we continue to invest in more environmentally friendly transport solutions. For HCS, the green transition is not only about future ambitions, but also about concrete solutions that are already in operation.
With the new electric hooklift trucks, HCS has taken another important step on the journey towards more sustainable transport and waste management.
